Mobile Home Park Article Background
ParkSitesIO is Going Private

There's an old saying that if you aren’t continually evolving personally and professionally, you're simply not growing!

As many of you may have noticed, about a year ago, I started dipping my toes back into real estate again as an associate broker for National Land Realty in Nebraska and South Dakota.

However, back in early 2021, when I first started working on the concept of MHParks.com, which eventually became ParkSitesIO, I only had one mission on my mind. That was to finally fulfill my dream of building an application that could help people in the park industry research and track parks throughout the U.S.

At the time, I had chosen to walk away from a career in real estate to see my vision become a reality.

From a personal standpoint, bringing my vision to life has been a hugely rewarding endeavor that very few in the industry can claim to have accomplished.

Because of ParkSitesIO, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our application help several investors target parks that they eventually purchased.

To say I’m proud of what our team has built, is a huge understatement!

However, if I’m brutally honest, while our site’s monthly visitor traffic has always remained solid, we’ve always had a problem converting visitors to paying subscribers.

While I have my own opinions about why, I’ll simply say some factors can’t be controlled, no matter how much you try.

That’s why it’s with mixed emotions that today I’m announcing that I will be privatizing ParkSitesIO on August 1, 2025.

While I'll leave the door open for ParkSitesIO to someday be publicly available again, for now, there are two key reasons for my current decision.

First, by only allowing my company access to ParkSitesIO, my team and I will no longer be bound by some of the development constraints that come with offering an application to the general public.

Second, as I find my real estate path once again emerging, privatizing ParkSitesIO will allow me to service the park industry in ways other brokers simply can’t.

In the meantime, we will be disabling the Sign Up options within ParkSitesIO and individually notifying our existing users with the next steps they should take while we honor their current subscriptions.

As ParkSitesIO navigates this change, I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years, both as MHParks.com and ParkSitesIO. You truly were our inspiration!
